What it means to be a Business Champion
Being a Business Champion is about more than a logo on a page.
We don’t just take – we partner.
Our Business Champions are valued, celebrated, and recognised for the role they play in supporting hospice care in our region.
Your generosity helps build goodwill for your business while making a tangible, local impact – supporting patients, whānau, and the wider Whanganui community.
Why Hospice Whanganui
Hospice Whanganui provides 24/7, free, compassionate specialist palliative care to patients and whānau – wherever they choose to be. Our care is personalised, holistic, and guided by dignity, choice, and aroha.
Our service is only around 50% government funded, meaning we rely heavily on the generosity of our local community to continue delivering care.
It costs approximately $4 million each year to run Hospice Whanganui. Support from local businesses helps ensure we can continue to walk alongside Whanganui families during life’s most vulnerable moments.

Tailored tiers. Tangible impact.
We’ve designed contribution tiers to suit different business sizes, values, budgets, and desired levels of visibility. Every Business Champion receives formal recognition and our heartfelt thanks.
