Hospice Whanganui Meet & Greet

Hospice Whanganui warmly invites our community to join us for a Meet & Greet – a relaxed, informative morning designed to help people better understand hospice care today and the mahi we do across our region.

We know hospice care can sometimes feel unfamiliar, or people may not be sure what to expect. This Meet & Greet is an opportunity to come in, learn more, ask questions, and connect with our team in a welcoming and supportive environment.

What the morning will include

Those who attend can expect a structured but friendly morning, including:

• A brief presentation of our Annual Report, sharing highlights from the past year
• A walk-through of our building, offering insight into how our spaces support care and connection
• Time for questions and conversation, with members of our team
• Morning tea and time to connect

This is not a formal meeting or AGM, but an opportunity for openness, understanding, and connection.

Who is this for?

The Hospice Whanganui Meet & Greet is open to anyone in our community who would like to:

• Learn more about hospice care and how it works today
• Better understand how Hospice Whanganui supports patients and whānau
• See our spaces and meet some of our team
• Ask questions in a respectful, supportive setting

You don’t need to have had previous contact with Hospice Whanganui to attend, all are welcome.
