The generosity of the Whanganui community has once again shone through, with $8,433.35 raised for Hospice Whanganui through the 2025 Farmers Christmas Campaign.

Held from November through to Christmas Eve, the annual campaign saw customers supporting hospice care by purchasing the limited-edition Holly bauble and leaving heartfelt messages on the Tree of Remembrance at Farmers Whanganui.

Every dollar raised in-store stays right here in our community, helping Hospice Whanganui continue to provide free, specialist palliative care for patients and their whānau.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Farmers Whanganui team and to everyone who supported the campaign,” says Helen Leslie, Chief Executive of Hospice Whanganui.
“From purchasing baubles to writing messages of remembrance, each act of generosity has made a real difference for families in our community.”

The 2025 Holly bauble symbolised protection, resilience and aroha, values reflected throughout the campaign and at the heart of hospice care.

Hospice Whanganui extends a heartfelt thank you to Farmers Whanganui, their dedicated staff, and every member of the community who supported this campaign. Your generosity helps ensure hospice care remains free and accessible for those who need it most.
