Volunteer Photo & Media Consent

We love celebrating our volunteers and the role you play in supporting hospice care.

Visual images help us to tell our story. Whether that is to our local community, our patients and whānau, our fundraising partners, or others connected with Hospice Whanganui.

From time to time, Hospice Whanganui may take photographs or short video recordings of volunteers during activities, events, or within our services to support this communication.

Hospice Whanganui may use photographs and/or video footage for the following purposes:

• Social media (e.g. Facebook, Instagram)
• Hospice Whanganui website
• Print media (e.g. newspaper articles, brochures)
• In-store signage and displays
• Annual reports, fundraising and donor materials
• Future promotional and marketing material related to Hospice Whanganui

These images will be used without payment or compensation. First names may be used alongside images unless otherwise requested.

By signing below, you also acknowledge that:

• You understand that images or recordings of your participation as a volunteer may be used for communication and promotional purposes.
• Hospice Whanganui will advise when photographs or video are being taken where reasonably practicable.
• You may choose not to participate in photographs or recordings at any time by stepping out of shot or advising the person taking the image.
• You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing admin@hospicewhanganui.org.nz. Future use of your image will cease where reasonably possible.

All images will always be used respectfully and in a manner consistent with Hospice Whanganui’s values.
