It was our absolute pleasure to call in on the staff at Farmers with morning tea and our very special thanks for their hard work throughout the Tree of Remembrance campaign at Christmas. Nelda, Tracey, Davene, Anna and Fiona joined the team who had pulled together in fine style and created a donation of $7689 for Hospice Whanganui! With the sale of baubles going through the roof and selling out very early on, it promised to be a very exciting result. Thanks Grant and the team for pulling out all the stops for HW and finishing the campaign on a real high!
The campaign, nationally, has raised almost $820,000 for NZ Hospices last Christmas and since the campaigns began seven years ago, the national fundraising total is $5million. Wow! Thank you doesn’t seem to be enough, but it’s heartfelt and with real appreciation.
