The aim of this workshop is to assist registered nurses to obtain the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills required to manage syringe drivers in their place of practice and for enrolled nurses to be competent in checking.

Annual updates are recommended to maintain knowledge, skill and competency in the use of the syringe driver and medication management.

The competency consists of a 2-hour workshop of which  1.5 hour is tutorial based learning and then 1/2 hour is hands-on learning with a NIKI T34 syringe driver.
