Time/Date: 6:30pm - 8:30pm, 14 October 2019
Location: Cooks Gardens, Wanganui

Hospice Whanganui is getting ready to launch a laser light extravaganza on Monday 14 October at Cooks Gardens (1st day back at school after the holidays).

The event will bring the magic of lights and music together, but not before an evening filled with other entertainment.  Starting with the beat of the Japanese Drum Team as you arrive, their energetic display will get you in the mood for the following performances by the Whanganui High School bands, then the grand finale Laser Light extravaganza put together by Flying Pictures.

Flying Pictures is a New Zealand company who have created spectacular shows throughout New Zealand, Australia and beyond since 1986.  Come along and experience the magic, bring a picnic dinner (although food/coffee trucks will be available on the night).

This fund raising event for Hospice Whanganui helps continue to provide specialist care at no cost to members of our community with a life-limiting illness.  We also provide support for the carers and family of those affected.  Hospice Whanganui has to raise around $1.5 million every year to keep our service operating so events like these play an important role in supporting the shortfall of funds provided by our Government.

Tickets are available from the Opera House and/or gate sales. **Please be aware that there may be a queue for gate sales.

Bill Board competition winner

Jasmine Couper has created our fabulous bill board artwork.  Her original artwork has been incorporated into our bill board resulting in an eye catching, fun design.

Not only will Jasmine see her art on display around Whanganui, but she will also receive free tickets for herself and family to the Laser Light event at Cooks Gardens.

Display Associates have generously provided the bill boards that you will see around town as part of their contribution to this fund raising event.

Thank you everyone for assisting us to get our event profile up and running.

Please support this family friendly community event.
